Course Overview

Welcome to the Parent-Taught Teenage Driver's Ed Course.

The course consists of 12 chapters with a total duration of 24 hours. Each chapter is approximately 2 hours long, except for Chapter 1, which is 6 hours in length in accordance with Texas state regulations.

Upon completing Chapter 1, students are required to wait for a PDF certificate, which will be sent via email. This certificate must be printed and presented at the DPS office to apply for a Learner’s Permit.
